Hello friends!
I thought now would be the perfect time to do an introductory post about me and my plans for Chuckaboo Station, formerly known as The Chestnut Street Memory Station here in beautiful Potter, Nebraska.
My name is Teran and it has always been a dream of mine to own some kind of small coffeehouse/boutique store. There’s nothing I love more than to check out interesting, off the beaten path shops when I travel and I love that I can become one of those beloved, off the beaten path stops. Not only does opening Chuckaboo Station allow me to fulfill a long-time dream, it allows me to continue being with my children. Family is a very important aspect in my life so you’ll likely see members of my family when you stop by the store.
You may be curious as to why I chose “Chuckaboo Station”. Well, not only do I love coffee, boutiques, and bookstores, I am enamored by the Victorian era. What better way to blend all of my loves than to have a Victorian inspired store?
Chuckaboo is a Victorian term of endearment for a good friend. Of course, Station pays homage to the origins of the building itself, which was built as a fueling station in 1926.
It is my hope that you find the store inviting and unique. There IS seating options to gather with your very own Chuckaboo as well as unique gifts and antiques.
Thank you for going on this journey with me!
